We are family!

I go to bed every day with graditude in my heart, I have so much to be thankful for. The boys at my age keep me moving and shaken. The silly things they say and the information they bring home from school! Lord help me!........they are getting so big! Who knows what life will be like when the "empty nest" hits the Club House...........

Dear Fellow Blogger Fans!
You may think I have left the blogging scene,
well ok maybe.
It's been months (2) since my last post,
Christmas and the New Year has come and gone,
but I assure you all, we are all well and happy.
Christmas brought lots of decorating, parties, and presents!
New Years came with new Resolutions with good intentions
to improve and bring happiness into our lives.
My life is full of work, raising teenage boys, cooking, cleaning,
trying to diet and exercise, scrapbook, keeping up with my
facebook friends, church calling, and sleep to say the least!
If there was any way I could add a few more hours to my days,
that would be perfect!
in any case,
Till we meet again!

November the month of Thanksgiving.
A few of the things that I am grateful for,
but of all the things it's
My Wonderful Kids
that I love and would do anything for them.
Thank You Heavenly Father.

Mothers Day 2007

I'm grateful for my Job!
I love what I do...
Oh, it does help pay the bills.

Grateful for my girlies!
No matter what kind of day I'm having
they always bring joy and a smile to my face.
Oh how I love them......

I'm grateful for the Gospel in my life,
for how it teaches me to live.
I love to go to the Temple!

So Grateful for my Club House
It's perfect for me and the boys,
we love our front porch, our hardwood floors,
my huge closet, my updated kitchen with two ovens,
yes! two ovens,
our game room and craft room with wall to wall built ins,
our wonderful not too small not too big bag yard,
and lots more that we love and thankful for.

Grateful for our Riley Bug
She is the best and is always in a good mood,
but especially because she'll take me for a walk any day!

Yep! I'm even grateful for SunnyD2
even if she is a stinker to the girlies

Hot Chocolate VS Flammin Hot Cheetos

Topher and I went to Austin's football game last night
and it was very cold.
Topher asked me if I wanted something from the concession stand
I said "hot" chocolate would be wondeful
so he leaves and then comes back,
with a bag of "Hot" Flammin Cheetos!
That's right "Hot Flammin Cheetos!!
You should have seen the look on my face
I said "What's this?"
He said "they didn't have hot chocolate"
I said "I don't eat hot stuff"
I make Hot Sauce, I don't eat it!
He said "They didn't have anything HOT"
What a great kid! I know he means well!

Dear Fellow blogger followers: I've not posted in about a month, with football season, my crazy work schedule, driving the boys to and from school and their activities, keeping up with the housework, crafts, watching the girlies, decorating for Halloween, a toothache, oh and don't forget FB (facebook).... I have no excuse, so here is a little update on the comings and goings at the "Club House"!

It's the fall season, and one of my favorite holidays just around the corner, here are a few picks of the club house in season and a trip to the pumpkin patch with my girlies.

I wanted a new Halloween Wreath, and I picked a few things out to make it and this is the end result, I was very pleased with it. I first put it out on my front door, but my front door is red and it just didn't look right, so I moved it to my game room, just about our TV cabinet. Christina my daughter too was impressed by it that she offered to buy it from it......what a compliment coming from her.

It's Homecoming Today
Go Bulldogs!
But my CLAWS are coming out!
Topher & Austin got mums and football tickets for girls....
The boys informed me last night that the girls they invited both bailed out!
They are crushed! with the excuse, "someone else asked me to go"
Are you kidding me!
How can girls be so cruel.
After a little advise about "girls" and their drama, I hope I was
able to soften the blow.
Now about the mums hanging in my craft room,
I made Austin's, it is grand and he picked everything out himself,
he was very pleased with the results, the picture here is the top of it.
Topher on the other hand had doubts about even getting one, but I
and others told him how important it was to get a girl a mum if you
invited her to "Homecoming". It's a status thing, kinda like "Johnny Lingo".
So he broke down and agreed to get one, a smaller version then Austin's
So here in our craft room hangs two nice mums intended for girls that
my boys picked.
So........It's the age for teenage drama in our household once more.
I hope I have the wisdom and experience to get my last two boys
thru the teenage years.
I think I need to cover my "glitter"!
